COURSE OVERVIEW

In this course, learners will develop a strong understanding of the fundamental properties of numbers and how numbers are classified and organised.

Learners will explore different types of numbers, factors and multiples, prime numbers, prime factorisation, highest common factors (HCF), lowest common multiples (LCM), and important number properties.

These concepts form an essential foundation for algebra, fractions, ratios and many other areas of mathematics.

The course includes video lessons, worked examples, quizzes and a mastery test to help learners strengthen their number skills, develop mathematical reasoning and prepare for Grade 8 CAPS Mathematics assessments.

• Use number properties to solve mathematical problems.
• Solve Grade 8 CAPS exam-style questions involving number theory.
