COURSE OVERVIEW

This course develops learners’ ability to represent data clearly and accurately using appropriate statistical graphs and diagrams.

Learners will use organised data to construct and interpret bar graphs, histograms, pie charts and other appropriate data representations. They will learn how to select a suitable representation for different types of data and understand how scale, labels and intervals affect the way information is communicated.

Particular emphasis is placed on accurate construction, appropriate choice of representation and interpretation of statistical information.

Through structured video lessons, worked examples, quizzes, exam-style questions and a mastery assessment, learners will develop the data representation skills required for Grade 9 examinations and FET Phase Mathematics.
