COURSE OVERVIEW

In this course, learners will develop their ability to recognise, describe, extend and analyse numeric patterns.

Learners will investigate sequences, identify relationships between consecutive terms, determine pattern rules and use algebraic expressions to describe patterns. They will progress from identifying simple patterns to determining general rules and solving problems involving unknown terms.

The course focuses on developing algebraic thinking by helping learners move from recognising patterns visually or numerically to representing relationships mathematically.

Through video lessons, worked examples, structured practice, quizzes, exam-style questions and a mastery test, learners will develop the pattern-recognition and algebraic reasoning skills required for more advanced mathematics.
