COURSE OVERVIEW

This course develops learners’ understanding of the Pythagorean Theorem and its application to right-angled triangles.

Learners will identify the hypotenuse and other sides of a right-angled triangle, apply the Pythagorean Theorem to calculate unknown lengths, and use the theorem to solve geometric and real-world problems.

The course places particular emphasis on selecting the correct sides, substituting values accurately, working with squares and square roots, and presenting calculations logically.

Through structured video lessons, worked examples, quizzes, exam-style questions and a mastery assessment, learners will develop the Pythagorean skills required for Grade 9 examinations and FET Phase Mathematics.
